Mostly Merlot (51%), with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec. This well cellared wine is beautifully balanced and still shines of big berry fruit that has mellowed over time. You'll get pretty, secondary notes of cedar, sage and mocha with some
vanilla/caramel mixed in from exposure to oak. The tannins in this wine are resolved, developed and the overall experience is smooth. A long finish of dark berries and toasty oak.
Pairing: Venison roast dressed with rosemary butter, chipotle black bean burgers with potato wedges.
